Vietnam on the WWW - a roundup

Tonight I am joining a diverse bunch of writers at the NSW Writers' Centre to discuss Vietnam and writing about it. In preparation I thought I'd offer up some of the latest news from the web:

• Thanh Nien reports that power prices will rise by 10% in Vietnam - yikes! I know my friends will be worried about this one.

• I am sooo tempted to attend the United Nations Vesak celebration in Vietnam in 2014. This will be the second time Vietnam has hosted this Buddhist celebration.
